IVR Menu

Sorry, No - We have decided to give the IVR Menu platforms away for FREE - hence, as you can understand, we will need you to activate (or transfer in) a 1300 or 1800 number to access the FREE IVR Menu service with SkyBooth.

There are no additional call charges from the IVR Menu platform out to your answer points. Often, a telco will charge an extra call rate simply because the IVR Menu or Auto Attendant is on a separate network. The SkyBooth IVR Menu is on the same network as your 1300 1800 number therefore you only have one call charge, that is the normal call charge that would normally apply to the 1300 or 1800 number as if it was landing directly to the end answer point without the IVR Menu being in place. For example, if you have keypress 1 landing to a mobile, then the call rate will be the same as the 1300 itself landed directly to that mobile line.

If the call never leaves the IVR Menu, then the local call rate of the 1300 1800 number service applies.
Once you have signed up and activated your 1300 or 1800 number, you will be able to create a new IVR Menu with the following simple steps;

  • Add New Service - Navigate to Add New menu tab and select IVR Menu from the drop down list, name the new IVR Menu and click create,
  • Upload Sound Files - Click on the 'Manage' control link for the new IVR Menu and upload the sound files for your service. You will need four files, initial greeting, instruction, bad keypress and timeout warning,
  • Configure Answer Points - Set the phone answer points for each keypress (0 to 9) and click update IVR,
  • Change the 1300 1800 - Click back on Services and then the Manage control link for the 1300 or 1800 number/s you wish to use this IVR Menu for and in the Routing Profile section, click on Change Profile Type. Then choose IVR Based Routing and select the name of the IVR Menu from the section below, Submit Changes and you are all done.
Note: You can test your sound files by dialling the numbers shown within the IVR Menu control link. This tests sounds not keypresses.

Fax to Email

Sorry, No - because we offer this service completely FREE of charge, we require you to activate a 1300 or 1800 number with us. Alternatively, you can also bring in an existing 1300 1800 number onto the SkyBooth network to access these FREE services with us.
When you are sending faxes with the My Booth Login, there is a detailed tracking process included to allow you to see each important step of the fax send as it completes and notifications given to you when those steps fail. When sending the fax by Email to Fax, you will receive emails to cover these steps.
