Sky VoIP Services

Yes - VoIP has come a very long way in the last 5 years and Sky Booth have tried and tested networks and hardware thoroughly to give you peace of mind that your business telecommunications are safe with Sky Booth CLOUD PABX. We use the services and hardware that we recommend and in addition, give you a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

We have put a lot of time and financial resources in to securing an efficient, quality assured network.

Avoid pulling the power from the IP Phones wherever possible. The best way to safely reboot your CISCO IP Phone is to follow the steps detailed below;

  • press the menu button on the IP Phone (shaped like a piece of paper with the right top corner folded back),
  • press the down arrow on the round scroll button until you see the menu item '12. Reboot' and then press the 'select' key,
  • now press OK using the same key and this will reboot your phone completely.

Sky VoIP Hardware

If you choose to use your own hardware such as modem/routers, IP Phones etc, we cannot provide ongoing support. Sky Booth have tested hardware extensively and this is why, (coupled with the fact that this is what use ourselves), we recommend the products on the Sky VoIP Hardware page.
When you move to an internet based phone system, you are reliant on the connectivity of the internet to maintain phone connections. If you lose power to your building for any reason, you will also of course lose your modem/router and thus your internet connection.

Implementing a UPS or Battery Back Up is designed to maintain the power to the important elements of the phone system such as the modem, switches and IP phones to at least allow you to complete calls that are in progress and shut down hardware safely. You can speak with the Sky Booth team if you would like to extend this back up to longer periods of time but we focus on a back up of 20 to 30 minutes to ensure a high level of customer service to your clients in the event of a power failure at your premises.
